Hot, Hot, Hot!

Can Spring be finished in Maryland? No, but we’ve had some abnormally warm weather these past eight days.

Wednesday was hot throughout Maryland, with highs of 89 to 91 in Washington and Baltimore, and 87 on the Eastern Shore. Businesses had their AC on.

Late afternoon in Ocean City, it was 73 on the barrier island, chilly on the Route 50 bridge over the Sinepuxent Bay, and a comfortable 69 or 70 in West Ocean City. But drive west a few miles, and you hit 85 in Berlin, and 87 in Salisbury. I heard that the OC temperature hit 79 earlier in the afternoon, but I can’t confirm that.

Low temperatures on the Shore will be only in the 60s Wednesday night. The Thursday forecast is for sunny and 74, followed by a cold front later on, with possible thundershowers. Then we hope to have sunny and cooler weather Friday afternoon and through the weekend.

Is that the price or the temperature?
