Breaking Through The Stock Market Bottom

Over the years, we’ve had a lot of talk about glass ceilings, and breaking through the glass ceiling. Lately, we’ve had a lot of talk about hitting the bottom, and where is the bottom?

A few weeks ago, a TV pundit was speculating that the stock market bottom might be the S&P at 900 to 920. At the time, the S&P was well over 1,000, and the pundit’s guess seemed plausible.

This morning, the S&P was at 852.

So are we approaching the bottom? Begging the question: Is the stock market bottom a solid wood floor, or a screen door? — Bernie Hayden
