		<description>Doesn&#039;t this give Maryland with its piggy back County tax the highest marginal tax rate in the nation. This kind of overreaching  is what gives the Democratic party a bad name. And those Montgomery County legislators who voted for it should be voted out of office.  It isn&#039;t hard to just not buy that house in Potomac, and move to No. Va. instead.  And why not, when the taxes are so much at variance. This is going to stick a knife into the Potomac and Bethesda real estate market and drive down prices.  That means less property tax revenues. So it could back  fire.  While it may be appealing to those with class jealosies, confiscatory taxation equals less overall societal weath.</description>
